ORDERING INFORMATION

Ordering On-line or by Phone

When you place an order, either online or by phone, make sure you give the most accurate information about your vehicle application. We can only send the you the correct parts based on the information that you give us at the time of your order. We will not be responsible for miss orders due to wrong information. If the wrong information is given to us, the customer is responsible for all return shipping and reshipping of the miss ordered items. If the right information was given and the wrong part was sent, we will take action to correct the problem.

Please DO NOT attempt to fraudulently order any products by check or credit card. We have sophisticated software to help combat credit card fraud. We will prosecute any attempt to the furthest extent of the law.

Sales Tax

All internet purchases, whether purchased from Truck Accessorizer.com or any other internet website are subject to state and local sales and usage taxes. Truck Accessorizer.com only collects sales and usage taxes for the State of Iowa (see below for additional information). If you reside outside of the State of Iowa, Truck Accessorizer.com will not collect sales tax for your purchase. It is the customer's responsiblity to pay any applicable sales or usage taxes to their proper authorities. Truck Accessorizer.com is not responsible for the failure of the end purchaser to pay applicable sales and usage taxes.

Iowa State Sales Tax Requirements (In Accordance with The Iowa Department of Revenue)

All sales of tangible personal property in Iowa are subject to sales tax unless exempted by state law. Sales of services are exempt from Iowa sales tax unless taxed (enumerated) by state law.

State Sales Tax applies if “delivery” of taxable goods or services occurs within the State of Iowa jurisdiction. 'Delivery' is the location in which ownership of product is transferred from the seller to the buyer or the location in which a service is rendered, furnished or performed. If delivery occurs in the State of Iowa jurisdiction, then state sales tax must be collected on the transaction.

Purchase Price / Sale Price: The basis for Iowa tax is the purchase or sale price of tangible personal property or enumerated (taxable) services. 'Purchase price' or 'Sale price' means the total amount of consideration, including cash, credit, property and services, for which personal property or services are sold. All sales of tangible personal property in Iowa are subject to sales tax unless exempted by state law. The retailer must add the tax to the price of the goods or services and collect the tax from the purchaser. The retailer cannot in any way indicate that the sales tax is being 'absorbed'. If sales tax is not paid at the time of purchase, Truck Accessorizer will notify the customer that sales tax will be charged at the time of shipping in accordance to The Department of Iowa Revenue.

State Sales Tax Exceptions: State sales tax expemption is offered to customers who are purchasing an item that is being shipped within the State of Iowa but is purchased for 'resale' purposes . In order to exempt from state sales tax, Truck Accessorizer must be presented with the Resale Tax ID Number (may be submitted in the special instructions at the time of checkout). At no time will Truck Accessorizer exempt a customer from Iowa Sales Tax if the Resale Tax ID Number is not provided.

Product Availability

Most products will be shipped within 24-48 hours of order placement. Some products require additional lead-time. We will do everything we can to make sure you receive your product as quickly as possible. We have distribution centers all over the United States which helps to get your order to you as soon as possible.
Since we ship our products through different distribution centers, we must go through them to get any tracking information.

This process takes time, so we ask that you:

Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery before calling to track your order.
Order tracking can be done: Monday-Friday 10AM-6PM ET
No order status will be available online.

Special Orders

Although most items listed on our site are available, there are times when an application is special order. When an item is special order we will contact you to notify you of this. There is a $10.00 special order fee and additional shipping will be added. Special orders must be paid in full before the item is ordered. Special orders are also not returnable.

While Supplies Last/Clearance Products

From time to time parts will become discontinued and no longer available for purchasing from the manufacturer. When this happens the items left in stock are classified as 'While Supplies Last'. This type of purchase is nonreturnable/nonrefundable. Clearance products are those that we have in stock that we no longer want to stock. All clearance products are sold 'As Is' and are nonreturnable/nonrefundable.

Guaranteed Safe & Secure Ordering

Our site uses secure line technology to guarantee your order is protected from loss, misuse and alteration of any information that is collected from you at the time of ordering. All credit card information uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. All personal information is encrypted so it can not be viewed by anyone but us.

Canceled Orders

We try to deliver our products in a very timely manner. With this in mind once the order is submitted they begin processing immediately. Once the item or items have been processed and are in line to ship, they can not be canceled. All orders will be accessed a 5% cancellation fee. Under certain situations the cancellation fee may be waived (pending approval).

Vehicle Description and General Product Information

We ask all customers to provide a vehicle description (as descriptive as possible) to give Truck Accessorizer a chance to cross reference the parts being ordered will fit on the described vehicle. The vehicle description is a vital information to provide us with. We used the vehicle description to locate if the part ordered is correct. If the part ordered does not match the vehicle description the part ordered will be adjusted to reflect the vehicle described to us. If the vehicle description is provided to us incorrectly then the part that gets shipped will be incorrect. It is the customers responsibility to provide Truck Accessorizer with the correct vehicle information so the order can be processed properly. Truck Accessorizer is not responsible for parts shipped out to customers where the vehicle description is not provided accurately (i.e. Year, Make, Model, Cab Style, Bed Style, Tonage, Body Style, Fender Flares, Interior Color).

Please Note: We try to catch any order errors, whether it be our error of a misprint or customer selection/information error. Truck Accessorizer does not guarantee that all order errors will be caught and corrected before shipping.

Product images listed on Truck Accessorizer's web pages are provided for examples only. The image may not reflect the actual product being sold. It is the responsibility of purchaser to verify fit and any visual looks of the product before submitting an order. If you are not sure of how the product looks or if it will fit your vehicle, we suggest you contact Truck Accessorizer's Customer Service before submitting your order.

The word current stands for the current calendar year. If you have the next calendar year vehicle (i.e. a 2011 vehicle in 2010) and the application chart states to current, please contact Truck Accessorizer's Customer Service to verify fit. Truck Accessorizer will not be held liable for any order submitted solely based on the Application Chart. The Application Chart is provided for informational purposes only and is not guaranteed for accuracy.

Shipping Terms and Conditions:
  1. Free Shipping applies only to orders that ship standard ground. Oversize items or items that must ship truck freight will be subject to additional shipping charges. These charges will be applied either to the item in the application menu or at the time of checkout.
  2. For orders that qualify for Free Shipping, the items must be able to be shipped by UPS, USPS, FedEx, or SpeeDee.
  3. We will ship your order using the shipping service or our choice. If you would like to specify a specific shipping service then additional shipping charges may apply.
  4. Items that must be shipped ground freight by common carrier (not UPS, FedEx, or USPS) do not qualify for Free Shipping (unless otherwise stated).
  5. No handling fees!
  6. Returns will be assessed a restock fee. (see our return policy)
  7. If you desire your shipment to shipped 2nd day or overnight, please contact us by telephone, (866) 783-3372, for shipping cost.
  8. Special order items DO NOT qualify for Free Shipping.

All orders are processed the same day that they are placed (if submitted during normal business hours) and will usually be shipped within 1-5 business days.

Please allow 5-10 business days (excludes holidays, and weekends) for delivery.

If an item is not received by the tenth business day please contact us and we will track the order for you.

Shipping Methods

We use FedEx Ground as our primary shipper. Most of our products will be shipped from one of our many distribution centers across the country. Depending on the location where they are shipped, UPS may be used. In the upper midwest we also ship with SpeeDee delivery. In most cases you will have your merchandise within 5 business days.

Any customer can purchase shipping insurance by contacting Truck Accessorizer.com by email or by phone. Insurance is needed if the product gets damaged in shipping or lost and can't be located by the shipping carrier.

Ground shipping does not require signature upon delivery. Purchase of "Signature Required" is available but customer must call us to add it to their order for an additional fee. Customer assumes full responsibility for any shipment delivered without signature.

Second Day and Overnight Shipping

We do offer second day and overnight shipping, however our secured shopping cart is unable to calculate the shipping. If you are interested in second day or overnight shipping please give us a call and we will be glad to give you a shipping quote. Second Day and Overnight Cutoff time is 2 PM Eastern Time. Orders placed after this time will not ship until the following business day.

Over Size Freight Orders:

In the event that an item that you order must be shipped ground freight (it is not UPSable). The customer will be responsible for the actual shipping cost. Note: Most ground freight shipments to residential areas are typically double that of those delivered to commercial areas. So it would be best to have these items delivered to a place of business.
These items must ship to a residence or place of business, no PO boxes.
These items generally require a longer delivery time (10-15 business days).


Shipping Issues
Non-FedEx UPSable Shipping Adjustments:

In the event that your order must be shipped using a ground freight carrier, we will contact you with the actual shipping cost for that order. At that time you will have the right to cancel the order and all charges will be credited accordingly.

Incorrect Shipping Address:

If an incorrect shipping address has been provided to Truck Accessorizer.com either online or by phone, a $10.50 address correction fee will be charged to the credit card used to place the order. If the order was purchased through PayPal or by Check we ask that the address correction fee be paid before we correct it with the shipping carrier.

If the correct shipping address is not provided to Truck Accessorizer.com within 3 business days of notification, the shipping carrier will return the shipment back to the shipper. In the case of the item being returned to the shipper, the customer is responsible for replacement shipping to reship the product out a second time and to the correct shipping address.

Damaged Products:

If the product that you receive is damaged during shipping you must file a damage claim with the shipper (ex. FedEx, UPS, etc.) within 48 hours of receiving the product.

We require the customer be prepared to provide photos of any damage to the product received. A claim will be filed with the shipping company after the photos are received. Please see return policy for full instructions on damage claims.

Truck Freight Claims and Limits of Liability:

The recipient agrees to inspect the shipment at the time of delivery and document all damages on the delivery paperwork/bill of lading before the driver leaves (even concealed damage). If a claim is submitted after 14 days from the delivery of the shipment, Truck Accessorizer.com cannot guarantee the claim will be accepted by the freight carrier, as there are limitations from the carriers as to how long after delivery a claim may be submitted. If the customer has any concealed damage, it needs to be noted at the time of delivery and a claim must be filed within 3 days of delivery. If such a situation should occur, the customer will not hold Truck Accessorizer.com liable. Truck Accessorizer.com will do our best to submit a claim should this situation arise but cannot guarantee the outcome. Truck Accessorizer.com will work to assist our customers with the investigation of freight loss or damage claims for any damage to our customers property occurring from the transportation services made available to our customers.

As the customer, you understand that Truck Accessorizer.com is not the actual carrier and will not refuse payment to Truck Accessorizer.com for any reasons relating to the disputes with freight carriers. The customer realizes that Truck Accessorizer.com acts as a connection on behalf of the customer to assist them in the process of their claim with the actual freight carrier. At no time can Truck Accessorizer.com guarantee acceptance from the freight carrier where the product has been delivered and signed for with no damage noted on the bill of lading by the customer or the delivery driver at the time of delivery, however a claim will be submitted regardless.

Products Lost In Shipping:

We will handle all claims with the shipping company where the item may be lost. If the shipping company deems the package lost and the customer purchased insurance, we will ship out a replacement of the same product at no additional cost. We will only ship out a replacement if the shipping company claims the item was lost.

If the customer did not purchase "Signature Required" before the order shipped, then the customer assumes all responsibility for any claim that has been denied by the shipping company where the package was left at an unattended residence.

Shipping Outside the Continental U.S.

Truck Accessorizer.com will ship to Alaska, Hawaii and APO addresses, however there will be additional shipping and handling charges that will apply.

 

RETURN POLICY

We understand there are times that you may have an item that you want to return. We want to make all returns as simple as possible. In the event that you have an item to return we ask that you phone us or complete the Returns form at the bottom of your invoice. This will help us easily identify your return and help speed up the process of crediting your account. All returns must have an RGA number.

Return Policy Outline:

  1. ALL RETURNS WILL BE ASSESSED A RESTOCKING FEE.
    THE RESTOCKING FEE WILL BE 25% PER ITEM UNDER $100.00.
    THE RESTOCKING FEE WILL BE 15% PER ITEM $100.01 AND OVER.

  2. Shipping, handling and processing fees are not refundable.

  3. An MRA must be requested within 30 days of delivery.

  4. Special orders are not returnable.

  5. All items that are returned must be in original condition (which includes original packaging). Please do not write directly on the package. This effects the resalability of the product. Writing on packaging will incur an additional 15% Restocking Fee (on top of the already 15% or 25% restocking fee terms).

  6. If the item is wrong due to incorrect information given to us by the customer (including vehicle description errors or incorrect part numbers ordered), we will ship out the correct part and take the original part back at the customers expense (which includes return shipping and reshipping the correct part). This falls under our Exchange Policy.

  7. If the item is wrong because we sent you the wrong part and the correct part was ordered, we will reship the correct part to you and we will take the original back at our expense.

  8. ALL items being returned without a replacement (including Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect item(s)), will be assessed the restocking fee.

  9. All warranty claims must first be directed to the manufacturer, depending on what the items individual warranties might be. In the event the warranty must be returned to the point of purchase we will handle the warranty claim.

  10. Any items returned billing the return shipping charges to the recipient (Truck Accessorizer.com)or without a RGA, we will credit you back less the 30% restocking fee and return shipping charges.

  11. If a fitment issue arises do to any additional accessories on the vehicle that my interfere or impede the installation or use of the product purchased from Truck Accessorizer.com, we will accept the product back after the proper RGA has been provided to the purchaser. The return shipping will be the responsibility of the purchaser and the standard restocking fee will apply.

  12. Not all products are custom fit, therefore if the appearance or fitment of the product purchased from Truck Accessorizer.com does not meet the purchasers' standards or expectation, we will accept the product back after the proper RGA has been provided to the purchaser. The return shipping will be the responsibility of the purchaser and the standard restocking fee will apply.

Returns

All return items must have the RGA number on a packaging slip.

  • You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request an MRA for any item that you no longer desire to keep.
  • Return MRA requests made after 30 days from the date of delivery will be assessed a 30% restocking fee if the return is approved by Truck Accessorizer (return acceptance is not guaranteed beyond 30 days).
  • If the MRA was acquired within the 30 day policy period but the product is not returned within 45 days of the original purchase date a 5% return fee will be assessed regardless of replacement status.
  • The item must be in completely resellable condition.
  • Only unused, uninstalled merchandise will be accepted for return.
  • Items must have all parts, installation instructions, warranty papers, and wrapped in the original packaging.
  • Please do not write directly on the items packaging.
  • We will only credit the amount of the original purchase less the 15% or 25% Restocking Fee. The purchaser is responsible for all return shipping charges.
  • Any return received not meeting these terms and guidelines will be refused credit and sent back to the customer at their expense.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable under any circumstances.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for another item, you must first request an exchange RGA for the returned item. The return terms above must be met in order to make any exchanges. If the replacement item is of greater value than the original purchase the customer is responsible for the difference. If the item is of lesser value than the original, the 15% restocking fee will be applied to the difference. The purchaser is responsible for the return shipping. Additional shipping charges will be charged to the purchaser for the replacement item. Replacement items do not qualify for free shipping.

Delivery Refusal

Any items that are refused at delivery will be subject to the 30% Restocking Fees along with the return shipping (unless we advise you to do so).

Missing Parts (from inside the package)

If an item is delivered with missing parts the manufacture will usually ship replacement parts directly to the customer. Contact Truck Accessorizer.com at 1-866-783-3372 and we will either arrange for the missing parts to be sent to you or we may provide you with the manufactures telephone number for you to explain directly any incidental parts that may be missing.

Products Damaged During Shipping

The recipient agrees to inspect the received items at the time of delivery and report all damages before the delivery driver leaves. In the event the product(s) are received damaged as well as if the product was delivered without signature, a claim must be filed with the shipping carrier. All damages must be reported to Truck Accessorizer.com within 48 hours of delivery. Photos of the damaged item(s) are a standard requirement in order to file a damage claim. At no time will we file a damage claim if photos are not provided showing the damage to the product as well as photos of the condition of the box the product arrived in. If a claim is submitted after 14 days from the delivery date, we cannot guarantee the claim will be accepted by the shipping carrier, as there are limitations from the carriers as to how long after delivery a claim may be submitted. Once submitted, damage claims can take anywhere from 14 to 21 business days to be completed from the day we receive all required materials.

If the customer notices any concealed damage, it must be reported to Truck Accessorizer.com within 48 hours of delivery either by phone, fax, or email. If this situation should occur, the customer will not hold Truck Accessorizer.com liable. Truck Accessorizer.com will do their best to submit a claim should this situation arise but cannot guarantee any form of outcome. Truck Accessorizer.com will work to assist our customers with the investigation of damage claims for any damage to our customers property occurring from the transportation services made available to its customers through the shipping carriers.

If the shipping carrier accepts and settles the claim, a replacement product will be shipped out to the customer once we receive payment from the shipping carrier. If the shipping carrier denies a damage claim we will not be able to ship another product out to the customer free of charge.

Damage claims will only be accepted on uninstalled items. Once the item has been installed we will no longer assist with the damages.

Wrong Item Shipped/Damaged Item (damage not caused in shipping)

In the event that you receive the wrong item but the correct item was ordered or you receive a damaged item (damage did not occur during shipping), we will email you ONE return call tag to exchange the item(s) for the correct/undamaged item(s).

The product being returned must be in the original packaging with all paper work and installation instructions. At no time will we exchange the wrong item shipped if the product is not in it's original packaging. In the event that a product is returned to us not meeting the terms above, the product will not be accepted and returned back to the customer at the customers expense.

It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that the item is ready for pick up or arrange for pickup if the call tag is received via standard mail or email. If the item is not ready to be picked up, it is the customers responsibility to arrange shipping the item back to us. We will only allow one call tag and at no time will we issue a second call tag. Once the item is returned in resale condition, we will ship the correct item at no additional charge to you. To expedite the correction, the replacement item can be paid for (allowing for immediate shipping) and credit issued once the original item is returned. If you wish to return the item without a replacement, you will be credited less the 15% or 25% restocking fee.

Important: Check for damage on the item before installing the item. We must be informed of damage to the item before the item has been installed. Once the item has been installed we will not accept any further responsibility for the damaged items.

Warranty Claims

In the event there is a warranty issue, we will direct you to the manufacturer. If the manufacturer requires that the item is returned to the point of purchase we will handle the warranty claim (provided the item was purchased from Truck Accessorizer.com). Truck Accessorizer.com may ask for a manufacturers direct MRA/RGA number on warranty items before we can accept the product back for exchange. However, all shipping cost (returning and reshipping) will be the responsibility of the customer.Warranty does not cover any shipping or labor charges involved on the warranted product itself. Warranted items will be exchanged for a comparable item upon approval and are not allowed to be returned for credit.

Canceled Orders

We try to deliver our products in a very timely manner. With this in mind, once the order is submitted either online, by phone or fax they are normally processed immediately. All canceled orders be accessed a 5% cancellation fee. Once the item or items have been processed and are in line to ship, they can not be canceled. At this point the customer will have to request and RGA upon receipt of the product(s).

We reserve the right to amend our Return Policy at anytime without notice.
